School Visits

The Bunbury Wildlife Park is the City of Bunbury’s nature hub, where children and adults alike can learn, engage and connect with the animals.

ANIMAL EDUCATION

Our dedicated, knowledgeable Animal Keeper team offer educational talks on a variety of animals. Learn all about Australian wildlife and farming livestock. We can also teach students what to do if they find sick or injured wildlife in their own backyard.

ANIMAL INTERACTION

Our walk-through enclosures include a wide variety of friendly flight and land animals for the optimal interactive experience. Visit the farmyard where students can interact with animals such as kangaroos, emus, goats, sheep, free range chickens and more.

Animal food bags are available to encourage interaction between our animal friends and your class.

DURING YOUR VISIT

We aim to ensure school excursions are accessible and inclusive for all. The park grounds have accessible paths, seating, and toilets throughout as well as wash stations, drinking fountains and dedicated storage for student bags and teacher resources.

BIG SWAMP WETLANDS AND PLAYGROUND

We are situated between the Big Swamp Wetlands and Big Swamp Accessible Playground. Why not extend your excursion with a boardwalk journey through the wetlands to spot a Western Long Neck Turtle and a variety of birds and frogs. Round off your visit with some play at the accessible playground.
