The City of Bunbury has embraced the MARCIA vision - to be the Most Accessible Regional City in Australia. In line with this goal is the commitment to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity is at the forefront of everything we do.

Accessible Features

  • We welcome the companions of our customers who require attendant care support when utilise our facilities and services.

Companion Card holders must show their card each time they attend the South West Sports Centre. Please observe the following conditions of entry:

Gym: We require companions to remain with their client at all times.  A visit to the gym is not an opportunity for companions to complete their own workout.

Pools: Any time a client is in the pools or spa, their companion must also be in the water at arms length.  This includes during aqua fitness classes.

Sauna: Companions are required to remain with their client when using the sauna and/or steam room.

Group Fitness: Companions are welcome to participate in group fitness classes and must remain close to their clients at all time.
