WAVEFORMS is a growing collection of light installations across Bunbury.
Creative Tech Village, together with local artists, creatives and the City of Bunbury, are illuminating iconic locations with carefully designed lighting arrangements some permanent, others appearing only for a week or two before drifting away.
Like ripples from a stone on water, more sites will be revealed over time.
Each stand alone, yet together they form a nighttime journey greeted by the wonder of moments softly through the city.
The story
WAVEFORMS celebrates the energetic nature of Bunbury Goomburrup through artistic expressions of forces that are always moving, even when unseen.
It is about more than spectacle. By re‑imagining familiar places after dark, it invites all into the city at night making streets feel safe, warm, and more alive. The works explore the spectrums of light and sound, drawing inspiration from Bunbury's identity.
The vision
As WAVEFORMS expands, additional installations will be introduced across the city over time from illuminated murals by nationally recognised artists to glowing City Centre shopfronts, from green spaces lit up for the first time to culturally significant projections on public buildings.
Together, these activations bring a changing series of installations to life, encouraging residents and visitors to explore Bunbury in new and meaningful ways.
