The Bunbury Wildlife Park will remain closed until Friday, 5 June as staff undertake a significant clean-up operation following the recent storm.
Fortunately, the Park sustained only minimal damage and all animals are safe, healthy and being well cared for by staff.
While there has been no major impact to infrastructure, fallen branches, leaves and other debris are scattered throughout the grounds. Park staff will spend the next two days clearing affected areas and conducting safety checks to ensure the facility is safe for visitors, staff and animals before reopening.
An arborist will also inspect the Park's trees next week to assess any impacts from the severe weather.
The Bunbury Wildlife Park will reopen on Saturday, 6 June.
Our staff and animals are excited to welcome visitors back for a fun-filled weekend.
We look forward to seeing you then!
