We would like to thank our community and visitors for their patience as we work through important safety and infrastructure works at the Wildlife Park.
The Park was planned to reopen on 12 March, however final safety works, and site preparation have taken longer than anticipated.
We’re aiming to finish this work as quickly as possible and will confirm our reopening date once all safety clearances are in place.
All animals continue to be safe and thriving under the care of our wonderful team.
We’ll update you as soon as we have a confirmed date.
Thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding.
Following routine safety inspections, structural issues were identified in the main Bunbury Wildlife Park building. After further assessment, additional safety concerns with current site access have been identified that need to be addressed.
The park will be closed from Thursday 5 March to Thursday 12 March to allow essential safety and infrastructure works to be completed.
All animals are safe and receiving excellent care from our team throughout the closure.
We will reopen on Thursday 12 March with all exhibits and experiences available:
- Animal exhibits
- Reptile talks
- Keeper talks
- Big Swamp playground (remaining open over this period)
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we complete this important work. The safety of our animals, staff, and visitors will always be our first priority.
