Our Little Lappers Holiday Swim Program is a great way to keep the kids active during the school holidays and they'll be learning vital swimming and survival skills. Our Holiday Swim Program offers classes for Aquababies through to Stage 8.

Kidsport funding is available for eligible families.
Swim School FAQs
Student Information
- It is the parent/guardian/students responsibility to advise of any changes to name, address, email address or phone number.
- The SWSC incorporating Little Lappers Swim School uses email as the primary method of communication. All enrollees require a valid email address.
Payment
- Shared and private classes, holiday swim and training programs, all run for a fixed term enrolment.
- A one-off upfront payment is required to confirm enrolment.
- Private lessons require a minimum of three lessons paid for upfront at the time of booking. Lessons must run at the same booked time on a consecutive weekly basis eg. 3 sessions booked = 1 lesson per week for three weeks or you may lose your placement. Medical credits apply for private lessons – please see medical credits for missed lessons below
Cancellations and credits
- A cancellation form must be completed to cease payments. Cancellation forms are available at the SWSC, Little Lappers Swim School or on our website.
Medical credits and refunds for missed lessons
- Credits and refunds will only be given if a medical certificate is supplied. Request for credits and refunds must be received within 14 days of the date of the medical certificate.
- All refunds incur a $15 administration fee. An administration fee does not apply to credits. Credits will expire six months from the date of issue. Little Lappers Swim School does not offer make up lessons.
Swim School swimming tag & free pool entry
- Once enrolled, each student will be issued a swimming tag. Your tag will be required to enter the aquatic facility for each lesson. This tag will be valid for the duration the student is enrolled and can be reused when re-enrolling. The student also receives free pool entry during the holiday swim program.
- Valid for practice/play swimming only. Free pool entry excludes entry for organised sessions booked by external user groups. For example, Education department swimming lessons, school or club squad training.
Supervision
- Children under 5 years of age must be accompanied in the water and within arm’s reach of an adult at all times. Students under 13 years require a guardian in the pool area at all times. We are a Watch Around Water facility which has been endorsed by Royal Lifesaving Society of WA.
Communicable diseases
- A person suffering from any skin infection or other communicable diseases will be excluded from lessons for the safety and wellbeing of all other participants and teachers. Examples include: cold sores, chickenpox, head lice, school sores, measles, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, vomiting, tinea, ringworm, slapped check syndrome, whooping cough and warts
Nappy policy
- All children under the age of 4 years are required to wear a swimming nappy or swimming pants at all times whilst using the facility. This is in accordance with the SWSC Nappy Policy. This policy is in place to prevent pool contamination which requires the SWSC to close the pool for up to 8 hours.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
- The City of Bunbury reserves the right to alter terms and conditions at any time. Direct debit fees are subject to incremental price increases as adopted by council in the City of Bunbury Fees and Charges.
Use of photography
- In accordance with the SWSC Camera Policy, patrons are not permitted to use photographic devices within the vicinity of our aquatics facility.
- The South West Sports Centre reserves the right to take and use photographic material for promotional purposes both internally and externally.
Little Lappers is an approved KidSport Swim School which means eligible families can use KidSport vouchers to access swimming lessons. KidSport is delivered by the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries, visit their website to find out more.
