Billboards and banners are to be designed and created by a professional sign writer, who will be able to assist with deciding what information is required and how best to advertise your event.
The City’s events billboards are located at the below locations:
- Ocean Drive (corner of Ocean Drive and Scott Street)
- Koombana Drive (near George Baxter Promenade)
- Picton Road (near Bunbury Machinery opposite Henley Drive)
You are required to provide a copy of your Public Liability Insurance (PLI) certificate and a diagram of your signage, including exact wording that will appear on the billboard attached to the Billboard Booking Form below.
Fees for billboard hire are $50 (GST inclusive) per sign per week for commercial events, or $25 (GST inclusive) per sign per week for non-commercial events.
City of Bunbury events banners are located at the below locations
- Victoria Street (near Wellington Street)
- Victoria Street (near Symmons Street)
You are required to provide a copy of your Public Liability Insurance (PLI) certificate and a diagram of your signage, including exact wording that will appear on the banner attached to the Victoria Street Banner Booking Form found below.
The cost of installation and removal for the banner is $240 (GST inclusive). The hire fee for the banner space is $50 (GST inclusive) per week for commercial use, or $25 (GST inclusive) per week for not-for-profit use.
You may wish to display your own signage throughout Bunbury, and this is permitted at specified locations as per the signage map found here. These locations are:
- Koombana Drive – on the south side of Koombana Drive, between the caravan park and the new roundabout
- Ocean Drive and Symmons Street – west side of the cricket nets, not to be facing the roundabout
- Ocean Drive and Hudson Road – west side of Ocean Drive, minimum 3m from edge of road
- Blair Street and Halsley Street – Hands Oval south east corner only
- Sandridge Road and King Road – about 50m east of traffic lights on North side of Sandridge Road
Signs can only be displayed 14 days before the event and must be removed one day after the event.
All signs should have a contact number on the bottom right-hand corner.
Signage Conditions
- Signs are to be checked regularly
- Signs placed at positions two and five can be attached to the existing fencing
- Signs placed at any other positions may be impounded
