The City of Bunbury is inviting the community to help shape its next Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Building on the foundations of the Greater Bunbury Reflect RAP developed in 2019, the City is now developing its own Reflect RAP in partnership with Marrak Holdings to guide the next stage of its reconciliation journey.

The RAP will help shape how the City strengthens relationships, respect and opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while building a more inclusive and connected community.

Marrak Holdings, a Bunbury-based Aboriginal-owned consultancy specialising in Aboriginal engagement and community consultation, is supporting the project to help ensure local voices and perspectives are reflected throughout the process.

Before the plan is written, the City wants to hear from the people who live, work, study and participate in our community.

We're inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, community members, businesses and stakeholders to share their experiences, ideas and aspirations through a short survey.

You do not need to be an expert in reconciliation to take part. Whether you have lived experience, new ideas or simply want to share your perspective, your feedback is valuable.

The survey findings will help identify the priorities, opportunities and actions that matter most to our community and will inform development of the City’s next RAP.

All responses will be reviewed by the project team, Marrak Holdings and the RAP Working Group.

Together, we can help shape a Reconciliation Action Plan that reflects the voices and aspirations of our community.
