Temporary road closures will be in place in the city centre in November while Christmas lights are installed.
Works will start at 6am on each date, and the roads listed below will be closed in both directions. Traffic management contractors will manage vehicle and pedestrian movements, with signs, barriers and lighting installed in line with approved traffic management plans to keep workers, the public and nearby businesses safe.
Road closures
- Wednesday, 4 November 2026: Victoria Street, between Prinsep Street and Wellington Street, 6am to 1pm
- Monday, 9 November 2026: Victoria Street, between Stirling Street and Stephen Street, 6am to 12pm
- Tuesday, 10 November 2026: Prinsep Street, between Victoria Street and Carmody Place, 6am to 12pm
Some decoration installation may also take place outside of these road closures. Traffic management and signage will be in place wherever work is happening to keep everyone safe.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time, follow signs and directions from traffic controllers, and take extra care when travelling through the area.
Letter drops have been delivered to affected properties. The schedule may change due to weather or operational requirements. For more information, contact the City on 9792 7333 or email info@bunbury.wa.gov.au
