Join the SWHW for an open morning to hear how local people research and write about history, and chat to like-minded folk over morning tea.

Since 2021, the South West Historical Writers have met regularly at Bunbury Museum + Heritage Centre to share, discuss, support and celebrate their historical research and writing projects.

At High Tea & True Tales Well Told, learn how local history enthusiasts have taken the plunge into writing and about the journeys the process has taken them on. Representatives from the group will deliver short presentations about what they do, how they do it, and what the South West Historical Writers group has meant to them. Then, mingle with like-minded people to discuss bringing the past to life through the written word, in whatever genre or form that takes.

This is a free event, with morning tea supplied.

RSVPs are encouraged.

The Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre is located at 1 Arthur Street, Bunbury.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays).
