Parking and Rangers

The provision of meaningful and accessible parking within the CBD is a priority for the City of Bunbury.

With a population that consists of local public and transient visitors we need to have a parking solution that caters to the different needs of the community.

Most of the ticket machines located around the city are no longer active. The City is currently in the process of installing an exciting new Smart Parking Solution which includes in-ground sensors, removing the need for these ticket machines.

The city has ample on-street free parking, customers can simply observe the time limit displayed on the signs and ensure they return to their vehicle once that time limit expires. These include free bays with time limits of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours, 3 hours and 4 hours.

A few central All Day carparks will have new Parking Meters, all the customer needs to do is enter their license plate, pay if required and walk away. Free All Day carparks that are unmetered are also only a short walk from your favourite shop, café or place of business. A Wayfinding App will be available for locating car bay availability, great places to visit around the CBD and as second option for Parking Meter payments.
