Chief Executive Officer - Andrew Brien
Andrew joined the City of Bunbury in 2010 following 20 years in local government in Queensland, with the last seven of those in CEO positions. He has an extensive background in local government reform and was recently included in the Queensland local government reform as the interim CEO overseeing the amalgamation of two City councils and two Shire councils to form the Fraser Coast Regional Council.
Andrew is a member of Local Government Managers Australia, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed numerous training and professional development courses. He holds a Diploma of Local Government (Administration & Governance), is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, is a qualified QA auditor and a JP (Qualified) Qld.
Andrew is committed to ensuring that the City of Bunbury will continue to grow and prosper as the capital of the South West region of WA.
