Christmas in the City

Christmas in the City will be back again this year in its original one-day format.

Head into the Bunbury CBD on Sunday 12 December for a wide range of activities for everyone and every age.

Start your day with a mocktail workshop, before making your way through the selection of market stalls and then try your hand at cupcake decorating.

Grab some food from one of the many food trucks and enjoy the live music or the Christmas Show oat the Graham Bricknell Music Shell.

If you’ve got little ones, the Santa Meet-and Greet is a must do, and young and old alike will enjoy the sustainable Christmas crafts – make a Christmas card or some Christmas wrapping paper.

At 6.30pm the Street Parade is back and you’ll get a great view anywhere along the parade route.

As the sun sets, cast your gaze to the Leschenault Inlet which will light up with an on-the-water boat parade.

Finally, capture your day out with friends or family by stopping by the photobooth and take home the memories with a printed image or get it emailed to you to share it straight to your socials. Don’t forget to tag us and #BunburyBrighter

The street parade will begin at 6.30pm and it gives groups, clubs and organisations an opportunity to promote themselves to the Bunbury community.  A map of the RAC Street Parade route will be published closer to the event.

Light-up boat parade

The all-new light-up boat parade is a first for the South West, inviting boat owners to decorate their boats with Christmas lights and decorations and parade their boats around the Leschenault Inlet from 8pm.  The best dressed boat will win a cash prize and bragging rights.

As this is an entirely new element of the event, further details will be announced as the event gets closer.
