Grandfamilies Fun Day is a family-friendly event celebrating the important relationship between grandparents and grandchildren.

Grandfamilies Fun Day 2024 is shaping up to be our best ever!

A celebration of family, this community event has a special focus on the role that many grandparents and grandcarers have in our children's lives.

Between 10am and 2pm, Bunbury Wildlife Park comes alive with a host of stall holder activities, rides, entertainment, music, animal experiences and more importantly - fun!

Families are invited to bring along grandparents, parents, children and anyone else who contributes to life and love within the community.

Park entry is heavily discounted on GFFD to:

There will be a host of FREE intergenerational and child-friendly activities and more including:

  • Various arts, crafts and games

Hot and cold food, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase throughout this event.

Important Information


  • Accessible, family friendly event suitable for all ages and abilities.

Event parking is available at;
- Big Swamp Playground,
- Corner of Jarvis and Prince Phillip Drive,
- Prince Phillip Drive, main carpark

Entry & Exit (Prince Phillip Drive)
- Via gate 1 (express - pre-purchased ticket holders, cash and eftpos)
- Via gate 3 (express - pre-purchased ticket holders, cash and eftpos)

Note: The park's main reception building will remain closed for entry into the park.

Express Entry: Gates 1 & 3
- Skip the queue and purchase your entry tickets and animal feed bags prior
- Printed tickets are not required, we will have your details at the gate
- Stamps will be provided upon entry to allow you to come and go through various activites
at differnet locations in and outside of the park.

Food & Drink
- Food and drink is available for purchase at various locations inside and outside of the park
grounds as well as at the park's cafe within the main building.
