Teen Fitness

Calling all 11 to 15-year-olds! Unleash your full potential and begin an exciting fitness adventure with our Teenfit program at the South West Sports Centre. We've got the perfect workouts to pump up your energy and make fitness a blast. Check out all the awesome details:

TeenFit Circuit Sessions

  • Get your fitness fix every Monday and Friday from 4.15pm to 5.00pm.

  • Enjoy a 45-minute workout extravaganza led by our awesome Personal Trainers. Our PT’s know their stuff, and will guide you through an interactive session, with specifically tailored workouts to suit developing bodies and abilities.

  • Get ready for strength, stamina, flexibility and functional stability, with the latest cardio and strength training equipment in our private Fit for Life gym. Each session is guided by our trainers and packed with exciting exercises targeting core stability, cardiovascular endurance, agility and functional strength.

  • The benefits of strength and fitness training during teenage years set the foundation for a healthy and active future. Our Teenfit program is perfect for those who aren’t necessarily competitive, but want to get involved, boost their strength and fitness, enhance performance or reduce the risk of injuries in their chosen sports.

  • Our workouts are designed to keep you on your toes, constantly progressing and pushing your limits. It’s not just about getting fitter, its about building self-confidence and teaching you to tackle challenges with a positive attitude. Nailing that first pull-up? Epic!

  • Our Teenfit classes run throughout the school term and even during school holidays. We’ve got your fitness covered all year round, so you never have to miss out on the fun.

  • We want you to have a blast while staying safe. That’s why we require parental consent at your first-class attendance, to make sure that everyone is on board for your fitness journey.

  • TeenFit Gym Sessions

  • Saturdays at 10:30am in the Gym.

    1. Welcome and roll check
    2. Safety reminder and behaviour expectations
    3. Warm-up (instructor led or instruct teens through a set warm-up)
    4. Program delivery – Teens follow prepared training programs, with instructors supervising, advising on technique and providing support, as required
    5. Cool down and stretch
    6. Session close and dismissal
    • The sessions are capped at 12 participants.
    • Due to the limited spaces, TeenFit members are encouraged to book online to secure a spot.
    • Casual attendees can be accommodated if space is available.
  • All participants must:

    • Follow instructor directions at all times
    • Use equipment safely and respectfully
    • Behave appropriately toward staff and other gym members
    • Stay within the designated training area
  • All teens must sign a behaviour agreement before attending.

    Warning System:

    • Participants will be provided with one formal warning for inappropriate behaviour
    • If behaviour does not improve, the participant will not be permitted to return to the program.
  • Pricing

    You have options! Pay as you go for $11.60 per class, grab our epic membership deal for just $26.85/fortnight or secure a 10 visit pass for $104.40. With a membership, you'll enjoy unlimited access to all Teenfit classes and the pool (conditions apply).
