Vittoria Road closure

Beginning in January there will be a significant Vittoria Road closure which will effect motorists.

Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of South Western Highway and Vittoria Road is underway, which will significantly improve road safety, traffic flow and access at this key Picton location.

In January 2024, Stage Two of the roundabout’s construction will begin with road closures in place.

As part of this stage, the construction of new pavement will occur over the existing South Western Highway and Vittoria Road.

The following closures will be in effect, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from 8 January until mid-May 2024:

• Vittoria Road will be closed in both directions between Erica Entrance and South Western Highway
• South Western Highway will be closed westbound from O’Connor Entrance to Dodson Road.

A detour will be in place during these closures. Please approach the work site with caution, stay alert and follow traffic management signs or traffic controller directions.
