Tokyo Talent Tour students in Setagaya

We have an AMAZING opportunity for local students to spread their wings and immerse themselves in Japanese culture!

Bunbury and Setagaya, Japan have enjoyed a Sister City relationship since 1992.

One of our longstanding programs is the annual Goodwill Student Exchange where up to 16 students from Bunbury visit Setagaya, and then in return, Setagaya students visit Bunbury.

This successful program has seen many friendships formed and offers the opportunity for young students to expand their horizons.

The tour will take place during the October school holidays and is open to all Year 6 and Year 7 students and interested accompanying adults this year.

Up to 16 students and four accompanying adults will have the opportunity to join the tour to meet the Mayor of Setagaya, visit beautiful Hakone and see Mt Fuji, enjoy a homestay experience with a Japanese family, and go to Tokyo Disneyland.

They will showcase their talents in schools in Setagaya, and also learn through a series of workshops about arts and culture in Japan, both ancient and modern.
