WAVEFORMS is a growing collection of light installations across Bunbury, delivered by Creative Tech Village together with local artists, creatives and the City of Bunbury. Some are permanent, others appear for a week or two before drifting away, each site adding to a nighttime journey unfolding across the city.

A familiar face, reimagined
The next chapter is a familiar one. Stormie Mills' The Journey, painted on Parkfield Street in 2014, will be permanently relit using the same creative technology behind WAVEFORMS.
Stormie was one of the original artists to take part in the first ever ReDiscover Bunbury festival, contributing several street art pieces to the city. He returned in 2015 to paint another mural on Prinsep Street, Mr Brainwash.
It's a different kind of moment to Shine Together, the striking temporary projection at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery during NAIDOC Week. This time it's smaller in scale, but built to last, an old favourite reimagined and given a new glow every night for years to come.

The vision behind WAVEFORMS
WAVEFORMS is about bringing Bunbury to life after dark, reimagining the city through light, art and storytelling. Building on the illumination of the Koombana pedestrian bridge, Koolambidi Woola, Boulters Heights and Marlston lookout, WAVEFORMS is expanding that story, continuing to bring new installations to life across the city as the program grows.
Together, these activations encourage residents and visitors to explore Bunbury in new and meaningful ways.
