Storm Debris – Valet Green Waste Collection

We know many in our community have been left with a lot of fallen branches and green waste on properties after the weekend’s storm.

Our crews have been out in force this week tackling debris across the city, and they’re not done yet. On top of the clean-up work that’s already underway and will continue, we’re pleased to offer a limited valet green waste collection service for Bunbury residents on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 June.

Registrations for this service will close at 3pm tomorrow, Friday 5 June. If you haven’t registered yet and have storm-related green waste over one cubic metre, please call us before then on 9792 7000 or 9792 7333.

How it works:

• Phone the City to register: 9792 7000 or 9792 7333
• Provide your name, address, suburb, size of collection and any relevant notes
• Collection is for storm-related green waste only
• The collection must be over one cubic metre in size (smaller amounts can go in your regular FOGO bin)
• You must register – this is not a general verge collection

Please note, this is a limited service due to high demand on contractors across the South West, Peel and Perth metro, who are also dealing with widespread storm damage. We appreciate our community’s patience and understanding – our team is doing the best they can with what’s available.

We ask that residents only register if they have genuine storm debris that can’t be managed through their regular FOGO bin.

We also want to give a huge shout out to the neighbours, families and community members who have rolled up their sleeves and helped each other with clean-ups this week. We’ve seen it all across the city and it’s been incredible – that’s Bunbury at its best.
