The City of Bunbury gives notice of its intention to make the Bush Fire Brigade Local Law, the purpose of which is to is to repeal the existing Establishment, Maintenance and Equipment of Bush Fire Brigades Local Law and to establish the requirements and conditions with which any volunteers acting on behalf of the Bush Fire Brigade must comply.

The effect of the proposed local law is to provide for the regulation, control and management of Bush Fire Brigades within the City of Bunbury.
A copy of the proposed law may be inspected by downloading it from below or can also be viewed in person at the City of Bunbury Administration building, 4 Stephen Street.
Submissions on the proposed law may be made addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, via either post or email to records@bunbury.wa.gov.au
Submissions are to be received by 5pm on 31 May 2023.
