Maidens Lookout gets a makeover

Bunbury’s popular Maidens Reserve provides two amazing lookouts with panoramic views of Kalgulup Regional Park, the ocean and the wider City of Bunbury.

A 670m assisted wheelchair-accessible pathway, designed with input from the City of Bunbury Co-Design Access Panel, takes visitors to the 45m high lower lookout, while the upper lookout is 67m in height, up 153 steps.

This transformation project was thanks to a $5 million investment by the State Government as part of its Plan for Our Parks initiative.

Jaysen Miguel, Bunbury Mayor, his partner Kate, and their one-year-old son, Cooper, recently tested out the impressive new attraction.
