The local government elections are happening on 21 October, but nominations open 31 August so why not throw your hat in the ring?
Being a Council member is an amazing opportunity to represent your community, especially those who might not be able to speak for themselves, on important issues such as rates, local law policies and developments – just to name a few.
As a Council member you can provide leadership and guidance to your community, facilitate communication between them and the Council, determine policy, manage assets and finances and plan for Bunbury’s future.
There will be four positions up for election in Bunbury this year, following changes to the Local Government Act.
