Green waste collection is coming up, which makes it a good time to tidy your garden and prepare for the season ahead. Each area has its own collection week, listed below.
Area A: Week of 30 March
Area B: Week of 6 April
Area C: Week of 13 April
Area D: Week of 20 April
✅What can be collected:
- Tree and shrub prunings up to 1.5 metres
- Lawn clippings
- Leaves
- Logs and stumps under 200 millimetres
🚫What cannot be collected:
- Branches over 1.5 metres
- Logs over 200 millimetres
- Sand or soil
- Treated timber
- Clippings in plastic bags
- Palm fronds or trunks
Green waste should only be placed out within the two-week window before your collection week. An organised and accessible verge helps collections run smoothly.
