Dive into the brighter days of Bunbury with some Summer Lovin’

City of Bunbury is excited to launch Summer Lovin’ – our jam-packed events program inviting our
community and visitors to dive into the brighter days of Bunbury.

The new-look events calendar has something for everyone from the City’s free signature returning
events in Christmas in the City and SkyFest to smaller – but just as fun – community events such as the
Chinese New Year Lantern Festival and a Splish Splash Family Fun Day.

The fun program runs from 1 December to 31 January and sees events, workshops, food truck and
market festivals and initiatives across the City from Koombana Bay to Jetty Baths, to Bicentennial
Square and the CBD, and everywhere in between.

Summer Lovin’ brings together City run and supported events, along with the plethora of amazing free
community events in a collaboration to activate our CBD and beautiful spaces while showcasing
Bunbury’s vibrant events scene.

Other highlights include outdoor movies with Beach Flix hosted by 62 Thirty Café, Sunset Markets at
Koombana and intriguing exhibitions at both Bunbury Regional Art Gallery and Bunbury Museum and
Heritage Centre.

Across multiple days, a Summer Carnival will also take over Pat Usher and Koombana foreshores with
amusement rides, carnival games, showbags and food stalls providing hours of family-friendly fun.

Always a popular event, Christmas in the City will return to a one-day format this year with festive
markets and craft, amusement rides, food trucks and more taking over Bicentennial Square throughout
the day on 10 December, followed by the Carols Concert and Christmas Street Parade into the evening.
