Join Brendan Kelly as he lifts the lid on Bunbury’s historic underbelly. Enjoy tales of intrigue, scandal and skullduggery on the back streets of our town.

Presenter Bio:
Brendan Kelly is a writer and historian with an enduring interest in Western Australia's civic history and cultural progress. Brendan has a specific interest in social development in WA between 1875 and 1895, particularly the world of amateur entertainment. He is especially intrigued by the lesser-told stories of everyday people in a class-ridden society. Brendan has also written essays on historical Bunbury and is an engaging presenter and speaker. He also published Bogans Booze & Bad Tattoos, an insider's memoir of his twelve years as a Bunbury City Councillor.

The Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre presents Winter Warmers, a series of free talks and workshops celebrating local history, learning and storytelling every Sunday afternoon from June to August. Always different, always entertaining, all welcome.
