About the Authors
Jeffrey Peirce is a retired career banker, property manager and grave digger. He lives in Dalyellup with his wife Carol, and together they have three adult children and eight grandchildren.
Jeff’s books and websites were inspired by and in memory of his grandfather: 10370 - Herbert Leslie Peirce, 18 Battery 6 Brigade Field Artillery 1 AIF Western Front, France and Belgium 1915-1919.
Chris Handley is a geologist who lives with his wife, Anna, in Bunbury, Western Australia. They have two adult children living in Perth.
Chris’ interest in World War I Military History was sparked when he was completing research for his first book, Yours Truly Came Up Smiling, about Anna’s grandfather who served as a Gunner with the AIF in France and Belgium.
