The City of Bunbury is continually improving the waste services it provides its community with diversion from landfill, community safety and cost on our community always a priority.
The McCombe Road Resource Drop Off Centre is our solution to ensuring items which are unsuitable for the three-bin system are disposed of, recycled or reused correctly. These items include but are not limited to car batteries, white goods, x-rays, bulk cardboard, degassed refrigerators, small appliances and televisions.
These items once dropped off at the centre can then be assessed for suitability as a reusable or repurposed resource.
The McCombe Road Resource Drop Off Centre is open Tuesdays and Thursday from 10.30am to 2.30pm. This service is only available to City of Bunbury residents.
The drop-off centre DOES NOT accept household hazardous waste.
At no cost to residents, household hazardous waste can be taken to the Stanley Road Waste Management Facility, which is open every day.
See below for a list of acceptable and unacceptable items.
