Where can I get a Kitchen Caddy?
The caddy is a counter-top style bin with a lid and handle, to keep on your kitchen bench for collecting your food scraps and paper towel. Each residence within the City of Bunbury is eligible for a free Kitchen Caddy, these can be obtained from the Administration building at 4 Stephen Street, Bunbury. Please remember to bring proof of residency.
Where can I get compostable bags for my caddy?
Compostable bags for your kitchen caddy can also be collected from the City’s Administration building, South West Sports Centre and Bunbury Public Libraries. Please remember to bring proof of residency.
Alternatively compostable bags can be purchased from supermarkets and hardware stores. Please look for the seedling symbol on the packaging, as this symbol indicates that the product’s claims of biodegradability and compostability as per Australian Standard 4736-2006 have been verified.
