Frankel Street Reseal and Local Area Traffic Management Program
As part of our Local Area Traffic Management Program, we will be undertaking a street reseal and traffic management upgrade on Frankel Street, between the Woodrow Street and Ecclestone Street intersection.
The intent of this project is to provide additional safety for pedestrians crossing Frankel Street and to provide a visual cue to slow traffic in the area.
Work is expected to start on Monday, 21 September 2026 and is expected to take two weeks to complete.
A number of factors are considered when planning a design like this, including the most desirable path of travel, minimising impact on trees and vegetation, existing traffic volumes and speeds, engineering design standards, and topography.
Driveways impacted by the works will be repaired or adjusted to match pre-construction materials (like-for-like replacement), and reasonable access to driveways will be maintained wherever possible. Traffic management will be in place during the work, as necessary.
