

South West Grant Expo
Are you a community group, not-for-profit organisation or event organiser interested in grant funding opportunities? Well, we have the event for you! The City of Bunbury presents the South West Grant Expo on Thursday 13 April at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Cente. More than eight funding providers and industry experts will be gathered in one location. Community groups, not for profit organisations and event organisers are invited to attend anytime between 9am to 2pm to meet and network with the following funding providers and other grant services.

The City conducts an annual grants program which aims to welcome opportunities that promotes Bunbury as a place to live, visit and invest. The program is divided in to four (4) categories that align with the key themes that make up the City’s Strategic Community Plan which are as follows:
Community Connection
The purpose of this category is to build a strong and resilient community, where people feel safe and connected to their neighbourhood and City.
Subcategories of:
Community Connect
The purpose of this subcategory is to create a highly engaged community to participate in a wide range of opportunities that make them feel welcomed and connected.
The initiatives could be through community events, theatre, film, arts, murals, artist-in-residence, music, circus, culture, sporting, health and wellness.
Neighbourhood Connect
The purpose of this subcategory is to strengthen and support our residents to develop a sense of safety and connection through community initiatives in their neighbourhood.
Signature Events
The purpose of this category is to promote Bunbury as a thriving and premier destination for significant events, driving people to come visit Bunbury and spend time in the region.
Achievement
The purpose of this category is to support members of the community who exemplify excellence, to proudly represent and promote Bunbury in a positive manner.

Grant Rounds
Round 2 of the 2022/23 grant program has closed and all funding allocated.
The 2023/24 grant program will open in April 2023 with more details and grant guidelines published on the City’s website.

Before submitting a proposal, applicants should be familiar with the grant guidelines relevant to the category in which they are applying. Please be advised that applications which do not meet the closing dates or eligibility criteria will not be assessed.
