Bunbury Library Youth Collective inspires young people to build strong connections discovering their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders.

How we progress towards our vision
By working together in developing youth-based initiatives in partnership with the library community in a way which is inclusive for all whilst providing a voice for today’s youth

  • The behaviours we stand by

Impact – We think creatively and pursue innovative ideas which lead to positive outcomes for youth in the library space.

Safety – We take personal responsibility for the physical and emotional wellbeing of ourselves and those around us.

Respect – We embrace diversity, value the contributions and opinions of others
    and are inclusive for all.

Integrity – We are honest, keep our commitments and take ownership in our actions.

Teamwork – We work together, inspire each other, communicate openly, and celebrate our successes.

  • Drop in to one of the upcoming sessions to see first-hand what it’s all about! No bookings required. To become a fully fledged member, complete the membership form below.

  • Intergenerational Creations

Join us every second Thursday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm at the Bunbury Library for a hands-on creative workshop! Whether you have a project in mind or just want to try something new, we’ve got the tools and space for you. Bring along and work on your own project with your friend or relative, or discover something new from one of the projects provided at each session.

You can use our Cricut machine, 3D printer, sewing machines, and overlocker to bring your ideas to life – or simply come along and give it a go.

It's the perfect opportunity for families to create together and provide the opportunity for grandparents and grandchildren, siblings or parents to delve into a project together, sharing skills, laughter, and creativity.

These sessions are open to all ages and skill levels, offering a warm and inspiring space to learn, connect, and make something amazing.

For more information about booking and to see upcoming dates, visit our Events Calendar.

    Temporary Pause of Anime Club

Bunbury Public Libraries will be pausing the Anime Club youth program from the end of May with a proposed relaunch later this year.

While on pause, we will be reviewing the program’s mission and vision, and how best to align with the needs and wants of our library patrons and the wider Bunbury community.

We look forward to welcoming all existing and new club members back to the Anime Club later in 2025. Follow the library’s socials or join our monthly e-newsletter for more details.
