Turn your kitchen scraps into gardening gold and learn ways to shop with purpose.
Have you ever wanted to learn the art of composting but have lacked the time, space, or knowledge? Join Wink Lindsay from Aquila FoodForrest as she shows you different systems and techniques to turn your green waste into rich gardening compost.
The workshop covers clever ways to reduce waste from your kitchen and the power of utilising your pantry staples. You will learn tips for buying food with minimal packaging, shopping for in-season fruit and vegies, and utilising all the items purchased. Plus find out where to buy low-waste food and how to store items so you save money and waste less.
This workshop was made possible with a generous grant from the Waste Authority's Waste Sorted Community Grant program.
