Meet Australia’s amazing native bees! Enjoy Amy the Amegilla, learn bee-friendly gardening, and meet WA very own native bee specialist.

Did you know that Australia has bees with blue bands and have buzz-pollinating super-power?
Come learn about our cute and incredible Australian native bees in a storytelling session of 'Amy the Amegilla', written and illustrated by WA's own native bee scientist and educator, Dr Kit 'Bee Babette' Prendergast. You will also learn how to create habitat for our buzzing friends in your garden.
Amegilla is a scientific name for a large genus of bees.
