As part of the Bunbury Public Libraries’ Literacy Festival, step into a D&D Animal Adventures world where brave cats and courageous dogs take on daring quests!

Location: Bunbury Public Library – Parkfield Street, Bunbury
Animal Adventures is a fun, family‑friendly role‑playing game perfect for newcomers to tabletop RPGs. No experience is needed, just bring your imagination!
In this beginner‑friendly session, you’ll learn the basics of adventuring, and team up to solve puzzles, explore magical places, and face light‑hearted challenges. It’s storytelling, teamwork, and fantasy fun all rolled into one!
All materials and light refreshments are provided.
This session is intended for kids aged 8 - 12. Please check out our D&D sessions for older participants.
About the festival:
The City of Bunbury Public Libraries presents the inaugural Literacy Festival, a vibrant, community-focused celebration of reading, writing and storytelling. Across 12 days and 21 events, the festival will bring stories to life through interactive storytelling, inspiring author talks, creative writing workshops, drawing sessions, family-friendly activities and literacy-focused programs for all ages.
The festival promotes essential lifelong literacy skills while showcasing local authors and illustrators. Free or low-cost and open to all, the festival reinforces that literacy is for everyone.
