This hands-on workshop invites book lovers to design their own decorative reading journals. Whether you are an avid reader or a stationery enthusiast, you’ll learn to blend creativity with organisation to better track your literary adventures.
All skill levels are welcome. You’ll leave with a personalised journal ready to house your next year of stories.
Suitable for teenagers and adults. Spaces are limited, and bookings are essential.
About the festival:
The City of Bunbury Public Libraries presents the inaugural Literacy Festival, a vibrant, community-focused celebration of reading, writing and storytelling. Across 12 days and 21 events, the festival will bring stories to life through interactive storytelling, inspiring author talks, creative writing workshops, drawing sessions, family-friendly activities and literacy-focused programs for all ages.
The festival promotes essential lifelong literacy skills while showcasing local authors and illustrators. Free or low-cost and open to all, the festival reinforces that literacy is for everyone.
