The City of Bunbury operates two public libraries in partnership with the State Library of Western Australia, providing resources and programs that support self-directed and lifelong learning, as well as the positive use of leisure time. Bunbury Public Libraries is also part of One Library, which enables members to tap into the resources of 27 connected libraries in the South West. The Bunbury Library offers an after-hours returns chute; items borrowed from the Withers Community Library can be returned at the Bunbury Public Library, and vice versa.​​

  • Both locations offer printing and photocopying services. Documents can be printed from the public computers and via email printing from your device.


    Printing costs:

    • A4 Black & White – 20 cents/page
    • A4 Colour – $1.00/page
    • ​​​​​​A3 Black & White – 40 cents/page
    • A3 Colour – $2.00/page​

    How to print from your device:

    To print, visit the Princh website and follow the prompts. Once you have accepted your printing, see library staff to process your payment and release your printing.

    To print at the Bunbury Library, click here. If prompted, printer ID number is 109142.

    To print at the Withers Library, click here. If prompted, printer ID number is 109143.

    How to print via email at the Bunbury Library:

    1. Forward the email with attachment to the desired printer using the email address below.
    2. Release your print job from the Library’s self-service Print Release Station. Use your email address to log in.
    3. Payment is inserted into the machine.

  • Both locations offer computers for use by the public. These computers can be accessed using the barcode number located on your membership card. Alternatively, visitors can purchase a temporary 2-hour guest pass for $3.00.

    ​Users of the library’s Wi-Fi and computer facilities must comply with the Code of Conduct and Use of Technology conditions.

  • Our Local Studies Collection is housed in the Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre. To view this collection please contact the Local Studies Engagement Officer on 08 9792 7075 or email localstudies@bunbury.wa.gov.au

  • The City of Bunbury libraries provide a Home Library Service to residents of Bunbury who are unable to get to the library due to illness, injury or disability. We can deliver a range of items directly to your door, these items include, fiction, non-fiction books, audio/talking books, DVD’s, magazines and music CD’s. New items are selected each month based on your reading interests.

    There is a limit of 15 items that can be checked out per delivery. Deliveries occur on the first Tuesday of each month. Items from your delivery are due to be returned on the date of your next delivery.     You have expressed an interest in the City of Bunbury Home Library Service. Please complete this form providing us with information regarding your preferences; this will assist us in selecting items on your behalf.

    Please indicate below the type of books you enjoy reading and the number of items you would like. You are entitled to borrow up to 15 items per calendar month.

    Terms and Conditions

    I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding participation in the City of Bunbury Library’s Home Library Delivery Service:

    1. Eligibility and Responsibility -I am unable to visit the Bunbury City Library or Withers Community Library. I certify that the information provided in this form is accurate and accept full responsibility for all materials borrowed using the library card issued under this application.
    2. Library Card Use - I give permission for City of Bunbury Library personnel to securely hold and use my library card to check out materials on my behalf.
    3. Item Care and Liability - I acknowledge that all borrowed items are my responsibility. I accept full liability for any loss or damage and agree to cover any associated costs.
    4. Delivery and Collection - Borrowed items will remain in my possession at all times. Delivery and collection will be carried out only by City of Bunbury staff or authorised library volunteers. Items will be prepared for collection on the first Tuesday of each month. If items are not available for collection, no further deliveries will be made.
    5. Borrowing Restrictions - As part of this agreement, I understand that I will not be able to check out items in person at the Bunbury City Library or Withers Community Library.
    6. Privacy and Records - I understand that the City of Bunbury Library will maintain a record of items borrowed to assist in providing the best possible service.
