Iluka Visions Applications

Iluka Visions is BRAG’s annual high school exhibition showcasing the depth of talent and creativity in the arts from schools across the South West region.

Now in its 35th year, Iluka Visions introduces students to the experience of a competitive art award with works selected by a panel of industry professionals. Selected works are professionally presented and exhibited in the premier gallery space of the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery. Works are eligible for a range of category awards and overall prizes.

South West schools are invited to submit artworks for inclusion in the 2026 Iluka Visions exhibition.

For more detailed information about the application and selection process, the Application Pack is available for viewing and downloading:

To ensure that Iluka Visions 2026 is accessible to all school students in the wider South West region, submissions will be online this year. Applications for Iluka Visions 2026 close 8am, Wednesday 24 June.

Part A of the application process is the 'School Registration Form'. Once completed, Part B 'Artwork Submission Forms' for each year group can be submitted.

PART A | School Registration Form

Iluka Visions 2026 School Registration Form

All secondary schools in the wider Southwest region are eligible to participate in Iluka Visions 2026. The wider Southwest region is based on the former WA Legislative Council Southwest electoral region, which includes the Great Southern. Iluka Visions 2026 is accessible to all students in the region with submissions collected online.

To register your school's interest in participating, this form and artwork photos must be submitted by 8am Wednesday 24 June 2026.

Artworks by individual students in Years 7-12, and artworks created by groups of students in Year 7 & 8 and Years 9 & 10 are eligible for assessment by our judges. If your students are in an Education Support program, then pieces by groups of students across any year are welcome.

We know that there is a wide range of class and student numbers across the Southwest secondary community, so a standard limit per year group would disadvantage students in a larger school. Schools may submit up to five individual pieces per year group, however if you believe that more of your students deserve this opportunity, please contact the BRAG Education and Development Officer Sarah Ryan on sryan@bunbury.wa.gov.au.

These pieces should have been created in a Visual Art class between June 2025 and the closing date. If your school does not have a specific Visual Art class (due to a non-mainstream learning approach or staffing for example) please contact Sarah Ryan.
