14/06/2013 Organic collection exceeded all expectations
The first weekly organics bin collection was emptied last week, and the results far exceeded all expectations. There were 800 bins collected and from that only 6 bins full of contamination was taken out of the load, equating to less than 1% contamination rate. Withers residents were the best performing with the least amount of contamination found.

Council last night locked in their preferred concept design for the new Hay Park Multisports Pavilion. The concept for the new pavilion is based on a building at Larkhill, Port Kennedy with a floor space of approximately 2,340m2 over two stories.
