The City of Bunbury has been developing a Community Sport and Recreation Strategy which will inform and guide the City's planning for sport and recreation into the future.
Community feedback and ideas are a key part of the process and will help inform the final recommendations of the project – this means we want to hear from you!
The Community is now being invited to provide input via the City’s online engagement tool – Social Pinpoint here
The City's existing sports grounds have been highlighted on the map and interested community members are invited to comment on existing sporting facilities or other areas within the City that either provide informal sporting opportunities at present or may have the opportunity to do so in the future.
In October the City asked its residents for feedback regarding the South West Sports Centre – this current consultation follows on from that and will also help to inform the strategy.
The page will be open for engagement until Monday 24 December and full instructions on how to make comments are provided on the welcome page when logging in.
Residents of both the City of Bunbury and Bunbury Geographe region are invited to comment and will be asked to help support the project by providing of the name of their suburb and primary sporting interest.
When complete in early 2019 the Community Sport and Recreation Strategy project will provide Council with future planning recommendations relating to the City’s sporting facilities.
