Through its Reserve Management Planning Program, the City of Bunbury seeks to develop a series of management plans in order to guide the future management of key reserved lands under its care and control.
Specific aims of the Reserve Management Planning Program include:
providing a comprehensive, strategic and consistent approach to the preparation of City of Bunbury management plans.
coordinating the involvement of relevant stakeholders in the preparation, review and continual improvement of the plans.
developing the plans such that they may serve as mechanisms for obtaining the Western Australian Planning Commissions approval for the management, use and development of site designated 'Regional Open Space' under the Greater Bunbury Region Scheme, where appropriate.
The preparation of reserve management plans will be coordinated by the City's Strategic and Environment Planning team as resources allow.
