You may also need to include:
- Bushfire Protection Criteria Coversheet (bushfire prone area for proposals not considered minor)
- Development Application Form Opt Out (proposals valued $2-10million (GST Exclusive), where you opt not to have the application determined by Development Assessment Panel)
- GBRS Form 1 (applications such as: subject land zoned ‘Regional Open Space’, abuts land zoned ‘Regional Open Space’ or ‘Waterways’ or a Primary Regional Road etc). Check online mapping or call (08) 9792 7000 and the duty planner can check for you.

EXTENSION OF TIME TO DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL

WRITTEN PLANNING ADVICE/PRELIMINARY COMMENTS/ PLANNING APPROVAL COPY REQUESTS

For information about a property you wish to purchase, lease or develop on, advice can be requested via a Written Planning Advice form - Home Office (Written Planning):
To advise the City of a Home Office, submit a Written Planning Advice form - If applying for a home office, also include a Self-Assessment Sheet and a site/floor plan showing the area within the home being utilised for a home office (include room measurements).
- Preliminary Comments:
An assessment of submitted plans with likely conditions to be placed on a development approval can be requested via a Preliminary Comments Application - Planning Approval/Plan Copy Requests:
To obtain copies of previous planning approval notices and plans, submit your request via a Planning Approval Copy Request form (please note: all owners of the property must sign the application prior to documents being released).

SUBDIVISIONS (CLEARANCES)
The first part of a subdivision application is made to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC). The form below is the next stage, applying to the City to clear conditions on your conditional subdivision approval to be cleared by Local Government:

Include draft plan, and phone number for making payment of the clearance fees. When you apply, all conditions should be ready to clear. If you have questions call (08) 9792 7000 and ask for planning, quoting the WAPC reference number. Note: An application is not considered complete until fee is paid.
