The City of Bunbury encourages and supports responsible pet care and ownership. The City’s Rangers ensure the safety and control of pets and are responsible for ensuring that the provisions of the Dog Act 1976 and Local Laws are complied with and maintained throughout Bunbury.
Your pet can be registered or their registration renewed at the Council Administration Building, 4 Stephen Street, Bunbury, or online by following the links below. You will need to provide relevant documents to receive concession, a concession card or sterilisation certificate along with proof of microchipping.

Livestock owners may receive an infringement and be responsible for any cost associated with their animals being impounded. Owners of livestock within the City of Bunbury must ensure that the fences and gates are capable are of containing livestock within the property boundaries. If livestock stray onto public or private land and are deemed to have caused a traffic accident, the owners may be liable for any resultant damages.
