Prestigious trophy to recognise hard-working community group

Not-for-profit community organisations work tirelessly within the community, often without a lot of recognition. Here is your chance to change that.

The Wilcox Brown Perpetual Trophy is an award that recognises the achievements of not-for-profit organisations within the City of Bunbury.

The winning community group will be presented with the silver salver trophy and a cheque for $1500 at the City of Bunbury’s Australia Day celebrations.

Nominations for the award are now open and the City is encouraging community members to nominate a group based on their activities, special initiatives, milestones and achievements over the past calendar year.

To be eligible, the group must:

• Be a not-for-profit community-based organisation. Nominations for individuals will not be accepted;

• Have been operating for more than three years;

• Operate with an annual budget of $100,000 or less.

Nomination forms are available at the City of Bunbury Customer Service Centre and a fillable form can be downloaded here. Nominations close on Friday, 8 December 2017.
